Intentional Collection – C40

C40 Intentional Collection

Scope note:

A collection of entities as conceived or imagined as existing by a person, a group or an intentional collective.

The belonging to a collection results from a classification of the concerned objects by a concept. The membership of an object to an intentional collection (an abstract individual) which results from the classification can be expressed using the sdh:C8 Intentional Composition class or its subclasses.

 

 

Examples:

A class of objects, in science, computer science, etc., can be considered to be an intentional collection
