An intentional collection is a non empty set of entities that are classified by a same concept or set of concepts (Gangemi, Norms, 2008, p.17). The concept that classifies the members of the collection is a type, the collection itself is addressed in intentionality as an abstract individual, even if composed by solid bodies or persons, beause the identity of the collection is profided by the classification.
