A social collective is a set of persons sharing the same social representations, i.e. the perception or interpretation of things. Although these persons have, as a collective, "the potential to perform intentional actions of kinds for which someone may be held responsible" (scope note of crm:E39 Actor, version 6.2), most properties of crm:E39 Actor do not apply to a social collective. Last is thus modelled as a direct subclass of crm:E77 Persistent item.
