This class comprises representations that consider a thing as being part or belonging to another one. Unlike the sdh:C22 Composition class, which considers physical compositions, this class models intentional compositional relationships as conceived in individual or collective minds.

Although it can concern different kinds of entities, the intentional composition is often used in relation to the sdh:C40 Intentional Collection class. However, no explicit association to this class because there can be several situations of intentional composition that do not concern collections, e.g. a verse being part of a poem or song, etc.
