This class models the fact that one person or group of persons is caring for a person, actively taking care of him/her, whether a child or an elderly person. This class is modelled as an actual interaction taking place somewhere in the physical space. It is a phase that describes a continuous situation but which may have interruptions, for example, looking after a child every day, during the parents' working time, for three years. The care may be provided by an individual or by an informal institution or group.
