The "social entities" are formalized and organized social organizations (a state, a company, a port, a laboratory, the forge team, ...) or more vague (a group of friends, ...), hence the subclass "group" composed of at least two individual entities that we have named "character" (the president of the Republic, the blacksmith, ...). These social entities are associated with competences (the capacity to carry out an action, i.e. to be involved and to participate here in an 'industrial cultural practice'). A group is a collection of characters.
The individuals are for us living (or having lived) beings . They occupy during their life various statuses notably professional: they incarnate characters.
As an example, the human being Mr. Vourch has embodied in his professional life the character of a blacksmith, with specific skills within the 'forges of Pontaniou' team (a group), one of the departments of the DCNS company (a group including another group).  


Taking into account the discussions with Nicolas Richard, holder of the LIA "Mines of Atacama" concerning the activities in the industrial and mining environment of the Atacama desert, we also consider the animals as individuals embodying a character, as for example the llama named X carrying material and moving alone from one point to another
