This class comprises intentional expressions by which an intentional entity formally presents itself, another entity, or a proposition for consideration within a social, administrative, legal, political, or other evaluative process.

Instances of this class communicate the intention to enter, initiate, or participate in a process that may lead to a decision, selection, acceptance, rejection, election, appointment, or other outcome determined by one or more intentional entities. A Submission may concern candidacies, applications, nominations, requests for admission, proposals, or comparable acts of placing an entity under consideration.

The defining characteristic of a Submission is not the eventual outcome of the process, but the intentional act of making an entity or matter available for evaluation or decision.
