Scope note
- Text
This class comprises activities through which an instance of an F2 Expression is intentionally dispatched by an agent via one or more material carriers, without requiring that its reception be known or realised. An Expression Sending represents the sender’s contribution to a communicative process, considered independently of any corresponding reception.
While the Expression itself is immaterial, the sending activity involves material operations and supports, such as the preparation, handling, and transfer of physical carriers or the use of technical media. The activity may specify an intended recipient and intended destination, reflecting the communicative intention of the sender, even if the outcome of the transmission remains unknown.
