This class comprises events wherein there is written or spoken account of an entity or a state of affairs that is taken by the attester to be true. If these accounts are written, traces of them will be retrievable in the form of documentary evidence drawn from archival sources.

Instances of this class come into existence when an actor makes a propositional claim about something they belief to be true. Instances of this class cease to be when all documentary evidence of the attestation has disappeared and/or its existence has faded from memory.
