Scope note

This class comprises types that stand in for instances of E19 Physical Object, the outcome of a production process that as produced some good (such as silk or lumber), but which are not intended to be used (or documented) as individual entities. Their function is to act as a sort of measure for sales or the exchange of other goods. Acting as form of currency, their existence qua 'type' is principally confined to account books and ledgers.
