Evidence based Storylines
Evidence based Storylines
Description:
We have created a group which is interested in the development of event-based ontologies for multiple storylines for history of literature. Aim is also to establish which stories might be supported by which evidence. For that reason we are defining concepts that express evidence, such as authenticity and provenance. Assessing authenticity and provenance in the end support the validation of data.
Interested member are Charles van den Heuvel (Huygens Institute for History of the Netherlands - p.i. Golden Agents project) and Veruska Zamborlini (University of Amsterdam - ontology specialist Golden Agents project) Carlo Meghini and Valentina Bartalesi (Istituto di Scienza e Tecnologie "Alessandro Faedo" Area della Ricerca CNR di Pisa) Alex Butterworth (University of Sussex, UK) Assoc.Prof. Dr. Regina Varnienė-Janssen, Manager of the Research Center for the Organization of Libraries and Information . Communication Faculty of Vilnius University and Karl Pineau, UTCompiegne, COSTECH Lab.
